"To Bob the Painter,


I had signed the purchase papers on my new house Friday, May 29, 2015, and did not receive the keys to the house until Tuesday. I was working out of town and desperately wanted the interior of my new home painted. I placed a request on the internet for a painter- the site was 'LocalPainters.com'. The house was empty, and I thought it would be the best time to paint the interior- if at all possible, Bob called me within 30 minutes of my request. I explained my dilemma- and the time restrictions- the movers were coming to my current house on June 5, and I was out of town working until Friday. I requested that the entire interior walls be painted. Bob was realistic and said he' d have to see if he could get a crew together- and within an hour, called me back saying the crew would be at the new house Wednesday 0800. I was shocked, but willing to take a risk on Bob's character and demeanor. He seemed to have a lot of experience- and I believed that he could do what he said he could do. The crew painted through Friday- completing about 3/4 of the entire house. The movers came and we moved all the furniture et al. Saturday. Really it was a typical move- chaos. The crew came back Monday and Tuesday to finish up I loved the paint color. Bob had indicated to me he had a paint color that he'd used in many houses, and I totally left the paint color to his discretion. The resulting job was completed Tuesday June 9 and I couldn't be more pleased. The painters did a fabulous job- meticulous in their work. I found the crew to be very professional and experienced. The paint color was rich and warm- a perfect finish for my new home. The detail and workmanship evidenced a crew that took pride in doing the job well and right. How refreshing in this world to find a contractor, who promises that the work will be done as agreed - and the work exceeds all expectation! I honestly never expected to receive an answer to my plea of the paint job immediately- and am amazed that now it's completed and beautiful!!
